This is a digital pattern for a simple, everyday tote bag with four exterior pockets. It’s a great entry point into bag making and is approachable for beginners while teaching a few key skills. In this project, you’ll learn how to box corners to create a three-dimensional base, bind seams, and form pleats for pocket shaping.

The pattern includes basic construction directions. If you’re new to sewing, you may need to look up some of the terms used in the instructions to familiarize yourself with the techniques.

You will receive two pattern files: one that is large format suitable for printing or projection and one that is broken up into USLetter/A4 pages.
